Sharon M. Thomas, 69, of Lower Makefield Township, PA died on Tuesday November 15, 2022, at the St. Mary Medical Center in Langhorne, PA.

Born abroad in Karachi, Pakistan, she was the daughter of the late Dominic Anthony and Julia Martin Braganza, she has resided in Lower Makefield for the past 36 years.

Sharon’s family immigrated to England when she was very young and continued her formal education there.  She became proficient in administrative and record keeping disciplines. When she settled in Lower Makefield, she became a medical assistant specializing in patient care, as well as administrative and billing matters. Sharon excelled in this complex and busy field. She also was an active member and volunteer at St. Ignatius Parish throughout her years here in Yardley. Sharon’s service to her church and community will certainly be remembered.

A devoted wife, mother, and grandmother she was the happiest when with her family.  Her dedication to her children and husband never ceased, even up until her death.

She was the wife of the late Col. Wayne L. Thomas, and is survived by her three children and two daughters-in-law, Warren R. and Christy Booth of Doylestown, PA, Kariann M. Booth of Philadelphia, PA, and Andrew W. and Rebecca Thomas of Doylestown, PA; two brothers, Carl Braganza of Houston, TX, and Darryl Braganza of Toronto, Canada; a sister, Sandra McCurdy of London, England, and four grandchildren, Sawyer Booth, and Elora, Alistair, and Elias Thomas.

Her funeral Mass will be celebrated at 12:30PM Tuesday November 29, 2022, at the St. Ignatius Church, 999 Reading Avenue, Yardley, PA, where friends may call from 11:30AM. There will be no formal receiving line at the church. Burial will follow at 2PM at the Washington Crossing National Cemetery, 830 Highland Road, Newtown, PA.
