Bill Turner posted a condolence

Bill and Sandy, I'm so sorry to hear about the loss of your mother. She treated me like another kid of hers and had no problem yelling at me for something that Bill probably did. I remember her and Mr. Sands dancing up a storm.....we called them Fred and Ginger! I know she's at a better place and I hope you can find peace in that. I love you.

Aunt Charlotte was always special to me. We were only 12 years apart in age. I spent the first 5 years of my life living at Mommom and Poppop's house because of WWII. The husbands and fathers were all in the army. I guess I was like the annoying little sister. Through the years we were always a close family. I remember the picnics and the Christmas parties, Uncle Bill and Aunt Charlotte had at their house. David thought you were special and felt close to you. They visited us in DC for the weekend too.. Such fun memories that I will always have. Aunt Charlotte lived a long, happy life. The last to go to heaven to be with her brother and sisters.
