Irene H. Monck of Lower Makefield Township, PA died Saturday April 15, 2017 at ManorCare-Oxford Valley. She was 90. Born in Queens, NY, daughter of Irene and Joseph Walthers, she has resided here for the past 67 years. Irene loved being with her family, friends, and her dogs. She loved to travel and loved life. She was saying the rosary when she went to God. Beloved wife of Philip Monck (who died in 1999) and devoted mother of Susan (who died in 2005), she is survived by her daughter Mary Monck of Ambler, PA, and Philip Monck, Jr. of Yardley, PA. Her funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11am Friday at St. George's Church, 1371 River Road, Titusville, NJ, where friend may call from 10am. Burial will follow at St. Ignatius Cemetery, Yardley, PA. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to St. George's Church.
