Obituary of Roberta “Bobbie” Moore

Please share a memory of Roberta to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Roberta “Bobbie” Moore of Middletown Township, PA who passed peacefully in her home on Wednesday December 7, 2022, at the age of 68.

Born in Trenton, NJ, daughter of the late James S. and Ruth Truby Gumbert, she was raised in Lower Makefield Township, PA - a community she very much loved.  A graduate of Pennsbury High School and a successful realtor with Berkshire-Hathaway, Bobbie became a well-known face around Yardley.  You could always count on Bobbie to stop and say hello.  She served as President of the Yardley Business Association at a time when it embarked on projects designed to bring enhancements to Yardley.  She was also active in the American Legion Auxiliary # 317 in Yardley and the Lower Bucks Pool Association.

She is survived by those who loved her most - her husband, Tim Moore; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Ryan and Donna Moore of Monument, CO and Zack Moore of Langhorne, PA; her daughter and son-in-law, Lauren and Joe Michalik of Doylestown, PA; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Sam and Melissa Gumbert of Flat Rock, NC and David and Karen Gumbert of Yardley, PA; four grandchildren, Brevin and Bria Moore, Iris Moore, and Emma Michalik, and two nieces, Danielle and Kelsy Gumbert.

Bobbie's greatest love was her family, and nothing made her happier than being surrounded by all those she loved, especially her grandchildren.  She enjoyed spending time with her friends and family, playing pool, and taking day trips to the beach. She will always be remembered for her huge heart, willingness to do anything for others, silliness, laughter, and conversations.

Calling hours will be from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM on Sunday December 18, 2022, at the FitzGerald-Sommer Funeral Home, 17 S. Delaware Avenue (River Road), Yardley, PA. Her funeral service will be at 11:00 AM on Monday December 19, 2022, at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Legion or Toys for Tots.
