Q: What was one of your favorite qualities of Delmar? A: While hiking with a friend Steve recently the subject of where he went to school came up. When he said Archbishop Wood I asked if he knew Del. Steve said everyone knew Del because he was a great football player. Steve mentioned his memory of Del was how nice he was to him and everyone. I saw Steve yesterday and told him about Del’s passing. I also said I would tell his wife Chris that you said “Del was just nice to everyone”. I’m 1 day older than Del and really miss meeting him at Lowe’s on our home projects.
