McArthur Wallace, "Pop", 72, of Falls Township, PA passed away on Tuesday

September 18, 2012 at his home.


Born in Elkhorn City, KY, a son of the late Lige and Victoria Mullins Wallace, he has been a Falls resident for the past 55 years.


Mac was retired from the Lower Makefield Township Roads Department. He was a man of all trades; a musician, artist, woodworker, and star maker.


He was a wonderful and devoted family man to his wife, daughters, grandchildren, great grandchildren, large extended family, and many friends. He will be always remembered by his favorite song, "You Are My Sunshine"

He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Barbara Harris Wallace, four daughters, Connie and Tim Miller of Levittown, PA, Barbara and Dave Swantko of Langhorne, PA, Tammy Andujar and Bob Paul of Yardley, PA, and Heather and Piotr Bielawsky of Levittown, PA; a brother, Jack Wallace of Norton, VA; 12 grandchildren, Amanda (Frank) Sciolla, Jessica Schindewolf (Mike Zischang), Nicole Schindewolf (Matt Tomasullo), Thomas Doryk, Olivia Miller, Danielle and Cameron Swantko, Richard, Chelsea and Megan Andujar, Juliana and Emma Bielawsky; 2 great grandchildren, Ava and Dante Sciolla; dear member of the family, Henry O' Brien, and "son" Chuck Drager.


Funeral services will be at 12pm Friday at the FitzGerald-Sommer Funeral Home, 17 S. Delaware Avenue (River Road), Yardley, PA, where family and friends may call from 10am.


Memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary Hospital Foundation, 1717 Langhorne-Newtown Road, Langhorne, PA 19047 or Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.
