Joseph Angelo Casarella of Washington Crossing, PA and Hampton, NH passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 8, 2023. He was 89 years old. Joe was the loving husband of the late Helen A. Casarella. He is survived by his children, Jason and his wife Lauren, Jocelyn Canzano and her husband Jason, his beloved and adored grandchildren Owen, Kate, Sabrina, and Luciana. Also surviving Joe is his brother William and his wife Kay Casarella, Candy Casarella and their families.

Joe was born on October 18, 1933, to the late Rocco and Madeline Casarella and raised in Scranton, PA and later West Trenton, NJ. He was a graduate of Rider University. He spent his career as an accountant working for RCA then Lockheed Martin and along the way he made many lifelong friends. Joe was a proud Rider Alumni. He was a past president of the Alumni Association and enjoyed following Rider basketball. Joe enjoyed Broadway, movies, music, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.

The funeral mass will be celebrated on Thursday, March 16, 2023, at 11:00am at St. George's Roman Catholic Church, 1370 River Road Titusville, NJ. Family will receive friends and relatives from 10am-11am at the church. Interment will be held privately for the family. Arrangements are under the care of the FitzGerald-Sommer Funeral Home 17 S.
