Obituary of Martha Martino

Mrs. Martha Hubert Martino, 85, of Morrisville, PA passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 23, 2023, at St. Mary Medical Center in Langhorne. Martha was born in Abington, PA to parents Lee Hubert and Elizabeth (Gerbert) Kurfuss. She graduated from Pennsbury High School in 1956. She enjoyed volunteering at the Morrisville Little League concession stand. She would tell anyone who would listen about how proud she was of her three grandchildren. Martha is survived by her husband of 62 years, Raymond Martino, and her daughter, Joyce (David) Gaunt of Morrisville. She also is survived by her three grandchildren, Raymond McCue of Burlington, NJ., Mark (Emily) McKenna of Philadelphia, and Daniel McKenna of New York City; one sister, Elizabeth (William) Daily of Fallsington, PA.; two brothers, Lee (Helen) Hubert of Cherry Hill, NJ. and Christian Hubert of Yardley, PA; one brother-in-law Michael (Lillian) Martino of Morrisville, and one sister-in-law Frances Hubert. She leaves behind many loving nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her daughter, Sharon; one sister, Anna Mae (Claude) Winningham; two brothers, Richard (Frances) Hubert, and John (Frances) Hubert; one brother-in-law, William (Sarah) Martino; three sisters-in-law, Ruth Hubert, Vera (Richard) Rice and Gladys (Harold) Rowe. The funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, April 4, 2023, at 9:30 a.m. at Holy Trinity Catholic Church (201 N. Pennsylvania Ave. Morrisville, PA 19067) with Msgr. John C. Eckert officiating. Burial will follow at Washington Crossing National Cemetery in Newtown. Visitation will be held on Monday, April 3, 2023, from 6:00pm to 8:00 pm at the FitzGerald-Sommer Funeral Home 17 S. Delaware Ave., Yardley, PA 19067. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in her name to The American Cancer Society or Holy Trinity Catholic Church.
