Joan M. Dansbury, 91, of Yardley, passed away peacefully on March 26, 2023, surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Bristol, PA, she has been a lifelong area resident. She was an avid golfer and gardener. Joan also loved spending time at her country home in Bradford County, which her and her late husband built in 1970.

Daughter of the late Harry and Elizabeth (Carter) Morrell, wife of the late Arthur "Muggy" Dansbury, and sister of the late Shirley Grant, Joan is also pre-deceased by her brother-in-law and sisters-in-law in the Dansbury family.

She is survived by her loving children Bruce Dansbury and his wife Nancy of Langhorne, PA, Ken Dansbury and his wife Shari of Gillett, PA, and Linda Cree and her husband "Sparky" of Jamul, CA, her grandchildren Matthew, Kelly, Kevin, Daniel, Brett, and Anne, great-grandchildren Maddox, Meadow, Hudson, Grant, Katherine Joan, and Theresa Margaret, two brothers David Morrell (Paulette) of Newtown, PA, and James Morrell of Reading, PA, and many nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held on Friday, March 31, 2023, at 11:30am at the Yardley United Methodist Church 300 Yardley Langhorne Rd., Yardley, PA 19067. Visitation for family and friends will be held from 10:00am to 11:30am at the church. Interment will be in the Newtown Cemetery.
