Elisabeth Lynn

Elisabeth Lynn, 93, of Yardley, PA died peacefully in her sleep, on Monday June 19, 2023. Born in Regensburg, (Bavaria) Germany, a daughter of the late Josef and Maria Wittmann Bauml, she resided in Lower Makefield for the past 73 years.

Elisabeth received an Associate Degree and became a licensed real estate agent known for her attention to detail. Her German heritage was very meaningful to her and often returned to visit family and lifelong friends. She participated in many Bayerischer and Zither Clubs' events.

She was a trailblazer, even in her 90s and an inspiration to all who knew her. She was an accomplished musician and played the accordion and piano. Then at age 85 she taught herself to play the Zither. She was a master knitter, incredible baker, seamstress, and storyteller. She created a cottage business crocheting afghans and selling them internationally. She designed haute couture clothing for her daughters including dresses, formal wear and a wedding dress. A few weeks ago, Elisabeth published her memoirs, photos and stories of survival growing up in Bavaria during WWII. She excelled in skiing, sailing, and horsemanship (including dressage and jumping).

Elisabeth had sparkly blue eyes, lit up the room and had an elegant understatement in the way she dressed, carried herself and interacted socially. She treated everyone with kindness, caring and gentleness. A lifelong congregant of St. Ignatius Parish, a devoted catholic, espousing the teachings of Jesus Christ, and a believer in the power of prayer. As an active member of St. Ignatius Parish, she participated in the Caring for Friends program with her many church friends.

Elisabeth lived a full and wonderful life surrounded by her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a devoted wife of the late Phillip V. Cavallo and the late Eric Lynn, and sister of the late Hilde Perschmann and the late Gerti Sperber.
