Born in Shreveport, LA, a son of the late Allan Sheldon Minter and Nora Laskey Minter, formerly of Miami, FL, he has resided in Lower Makefield for the past 53 years.
After graduating from Central Catholic high school in Fort Lauderdale, FL, Charlie attended Mercersburg Academy in PA for a year of post graduate studies before enrolling at Florida State University in Tallahassee FL.
