Frances P. Strange, 83, of Washington Crossing, passed away on October 10, 2023.

Born in Trenton, NJ, Frances has been a long time Washington Crossing resident. She was a retired kitchen aid from various schools in Council Rock and was the head chef in Hopewell Valley. She found great joy in seeing all the kids on a daily basis while working. She was an avid bingo player and was very active in the Upper Makefield Fire Company. Frances loved to bake for her family, and always took care of others. She would bake Italian cookies all year long and made sure no one ever left her house hungry.

Daughter of the late Ottavio and Letizia (Polverini) Peroni, and wife of the late Alan Strange. Frances passed on the day that would have been their 59th wedding anniversary.

She is survived by her son Scott Strange and his wife Kristin, grandchildren Brittany Strange (Keith Hilton), Kurtis Strange and his wife Emma, and Melynda Boyle and her husband James, great-grandchildren Zelda Boyle and James Boyle, and a host of extended family and friends.

The funeral mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, October 17, 2023, at 10:30am at St. Ignatius Church 999 Reading Ave. Yardley, PA 19067. Calling hours for family and friends will be held on Monday, October 16, 2023, from 5:00pm to 7:00pm, and again on Tuesday morning from 9:00am to 9:45am at the FitzGerald-Sommer Funeral Home 17 S.
