Joanna M. Shukal-Molden of Washington Crossing, PA died on Thursday May 18, 2017 at the Lourdes Specialty Hospital in Willingboro, NJ. She was 68. Born in Bethlehem, PA, daughter of the late Michael Shukal and Anna Rosko Shukal, she has resided in Washington Crossing for the past 28 years. Joanna retired as Vice President of Secure Communications with L3 Technologies Communication Systems in Camden, NJ. She was graduated from Temple University with a BS in mathematics and received her MBA from The Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania. She is survived by her husband, Frederick Molden; her son and daughter-in-law, Erik Molden and Dr. Stephanie Molden of Newtown, PA, and three grandsons, Luke, Brodie and Ryder Molden. Friends may call at the funeral home from 11am. Meditational Service and Words of Remembrance will be 12:15 - 12:30pm Wednesday May 24th at the FitzGerald-Sommer Funeral Home, 17 S. Delaware Avenue (River Road), Yardley, PA. Interment will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation www.jdrf.org.
