Obituary of Eleanor L. Driber

Eleanor L. Driber, age 98, passed into eternal life on November 24, 2023, at Sunrise Assisted Living of Lower Makefield, where she has been cared for lovingly for the past seven years. Born in Trenton, NJ, she was a long time Ewing Township resident before moving to Lawrenceville, NJ and eventually Yardley, PA. She was an active member of Incarnation Church and the Ewing Township Senior Club. She loved travelling, dancing, singing, and especially being with her family. She was employed for 29 years by the NJ State Police, before retiring to enjoy travel with her second husband, Louis Driber. They spent the winters in Stuart Florida, enjoyed summer weekends at the Jersey Cape, annual trips to their timeshare in Aruba and several cruises and other adventures. When she moved to Sunrise in 2016, she soon became a favorite of residents and staff alike. She loved hosting family and friends at their many social events. She truly made the most of every season of life! Daughter of the late Michael and Nora Angeline, she is predeceased by her husbands, William Kitchen, and Louis P. Driber, stepchildren, Louis Driber Jr. and Deborah Driber, sister, Christine Sforza and brother, Charles Angeline. She is survived by her daughter, Judith Leonardo and husband Frank, brother, Michael Angeline, sisters, Carolyn Giovannini and Delores King, grandchildren, Jennifer Brandt and William DeAngelis, stepdaughter, Susan Veth, Step Grandchildren, Tom Lukowicz and Kristen and Michael Leonardo, great grandchildren, Brandon Duffin, Christian Brandt, Jenna Duffin, Tyler Brandt, Alexandra Lukowicz and Julian Leonardo. The funeral mass will be held on Wednesday, November 29, 2023, at 11 a.m. at St. Ignatius of Antioch Church, 999 Reading Ave. Yardley, PA, 19067. Calling hours from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. will be held at the church. Interment will be private.
