Sharon was my long time USTA first doubles partner. We had so much fun. In particular, we took a trip to Hilton Head for a tennis camp and I spent one evening telling every joke I could remember. Sharon was literally screaming with laughter until the people next door to our room knocked to see if we were ok. It was always fun to be with her. We sadly lost touch in very recent years after our long time bridge group was abruptly disbanded. I’ll miss her contagious laugh and quick wit. Rest in peace, my friend.

Sharon was so much fun to be with. Her joy and laughable irreverence was contagious. Our days going to the symphony and out to lunch still make me smile. Sharing stories and always willing to help and take part in our club activities. She enhanced anyplace any group. I will miss her happy face and wonderful sparkle

Sharon was an amazing family friend, incredibly gracious and fun. I am blessed to have known her and am grateful for the memories. I especially treasure the closeness of her relationship with our mother, Linda. They were there for each other in ways I will never fully comprehend. And throughout my mothers battle with cancer she was there for all of us.
This still makes me laugh, but back in high school, I was an occasional fourth player when someone in their tennis group couldn't make it to the Pennsbury Tennis Club for the appointed round. Also, when I was engaged, Sharon opened her home and, together with my mom, hosted a surprise shower for my wife, Ellen. It was perfect!
Her kindness and generosity touched many lives, and the love she shared with us all continues to resonate. We shall hold her dear in our hearts always.

Sharon was my mom Linda Hays' soulmate and I am forever grateful for the times we had together. Once I was vomit sick at Pennwood Middle School and Sharon came and picked me up to take me home. I was in awe of what a pro she was as a nurse. She and my Mom were wicked tennis players and had many, many laughs together on and off the court. Our families grew quite close growing up and hearing of Sharon's passing is like losing family. I'd like to think Sharon's with Linda now, having a blast somewhere together in Heaven :-)

Sharon was a gutsy lady with a big heart and fierce with a racquet. She was fearless. I remember her telling how one nursing patient she cared for lived in such a dangerous area of Trenton that the woman advised her to back her car into the driveway so if need be she could get away quick. When the woman died police didn’t want to respond to such a bad location.
