Obituary of Michael J. Martino

Michael J. Martino, 90, of Morrisville, PA, passed away on January 20, 2024. Born in Newtown, PA, he has been a lifelong area resident. Mike was a retired welder from U.S. Steel after 34 years of service. He loved fishing, gardening, and camping since 1972. Mike was an avid motorcycle enthusiast and enjoyed driving his moped. He was a member of the Deborah Hospital Foundation. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family. Son of the late Michael and Edith (McClister) Martino, father of the late Michael J. Martino, Jr., and brother of the late Vera Rice, Gladys Rowe, and William Martino. He is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Lillian P. (Martin) Martino, of Morrisville, PA, his children Debra Calderone and her husband Patrick of Morrisville, PA, Patricia Lambros and her husband James of Parkland, FL, and Ronald Martino of Morrisville, PA, his grandchildren Michael Calderone, Amanda Calderone, David DiPrato, and Jason Lambros, great grandchildren Sarah Calderone, Ryan Calderone, David DiPrato III, and Dean DiPrato, his brother Raymond Martino of Morrisville, PA, and many nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be held on Friday, January 26, 2024, at 10:00am at the FitzGerald-Sommer Funeral Home 17 S. Delaware Avenue Yardley, PA 19067. A visitation for family and friends will be held from 9:00am to 10:00am at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Morrisville Cemetery.
