Virginia L. Mitchell, 90, of Yardley, passed away peacefully on April 3, 2024.
Born in Lansdale, PA, she lived most of her life in Souderton, PA before moving to the Lower Makefield area 2 years ago. She was a longtime secretary for John Evans' Sons Inc. in Lansdale, retiring at the age of 78. She volunteered for many years at the Care & Share Thrift Shoppes in Souderton. She loved watching the Phillies, jigsaw puzzles, playing Bingo at Sunrise of Lower Makefield, and she adored watching her grandson, Brian, at all of his sporting events.
Daughter of the late V. Donald and Helen (Frederick) Krupp, wife of the late Robert C. Mitchell, and sister of the late Joanne Thorp and her husband George Thorp 3rd, and Richard Krupp and his wife Barbara.
She is survived by her loving daughter Ginger (Berky) Romig and her husband Bill of Yardley, PA, her grandson Brian Romig and his wife Alicia of Yardley, PA, great-grandchildren Brayden Romig and Jackson Romig, nieces and nephew Shari Roth, Deborah Krupp, and Scott Krupp.
The funeral services and interment in the White Marsh Memorial Park in Ambler, PA, will be held privately for the family. Memorial contributions in Virginia's name can be made payable to the Care & Share Thrift Shoppes 783 Rt. 113 Souderton, PA 18964.
