During Terry's EIF days, there were a few of us known as FOT's, that is "Friends of Terry"; Because of Terry, we were allowed to participate in many EIF functions. Charlie Costenbader, Jerry Vargo & I were three of the lucky ones. After Terry had his stroke, we got him the robe he's wearing in the picture which is inscribed "Friends of Terry Forever"; which, of course, WE ARE! Mike Susco

Dear Darby Family, On behalf of the community of Kolbe-Trinity School in Napa, CA, let me offer our sincerest condolences to you all as you mourn the passing of a truly wonderful man. God brought Terry and his wife Anna into the lives of our school through a providential encounter at Mass in 2008 while they were vacationing in Napa Valley. When Terry saw that our high school students were having a bake sale to help reach their goal of $10,000 to send them to World Youth Day in Sydney, Australia, he surprised the high school students and their parents of Kolbe-Trinity by giving them a check to cover the entire trip! This gesture of extraordinary and spontaneous generosity is just one of many instances and examples of how God used Terry to give others the opportunity to encounter Christ in deeper and more meaningful ways. The world is a better place because of him. May he rest in peace and may his life inspire others to live as he lived.
