Madelyn R. Baker, 70, of Newtown, PA, passed away on May 9, 2024, at St. Mary's Medical Center.
Born in Trenton, NJ, she was a graduate of Pennsbury High School and Smith College. Madelyn was a world traveler and was also a member of the Questers. She volunteered for various cat rescue nonprofits. A lover of games, she was always eager for a rubber of Bridge or round of Canasta, Mexican Train, or Yahtzee.
Daughter of the late Robert K. and Nancy B. Baker, she is survived by her sister Susan B. Baker of Newtown, PA, a brother R. Perrin Baker (Christine McClure) of Erie, PA, many cousins with whom she remained close, and a wealth of dear friends.
There will be no funeral service. To celebrate her life the family requests that you consider making a memorial contribution in Madelyn's name to Tabby's Place of Ringoes, NJ, or the Pennswood Village Fellowship Fund.
