Obituary for Theodore (Ted) B. Paric
Theodore (Ted) B. Paric, age 86, died peacefully on November 29, 2024. A lifelong Yardley, PA resident, Ted graduated from Pennsbury High School in 1954 where he played baseball and football and was President of the Honor Society.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Florence Natoli Paric, and his children Valerie and Christopher, his granddaughter Reese, his sister-in-law Betty Paric, niece Jennifer DeGroot and nephew Jeff Paric. He was predeceased by his brother Donald Paric.
Ted attended Rutgers University where he majored in chemistry and was on the Scarlet Knights baseball team. After college he spent his entire career working for Rohm & Haas, first as a chemist and later as a salesman, his true calling.
Ted's love for the game of golf started at a young age. He grew up across the street from Yardley Country Club where he caddied for 50 cents a round. He was also a devoted fan of the Phillies and Eagles.
A curious, quick-witted and gregarious person by nature, Ted loved to travel and would talk to anyone at any time about anything. He had an uncanny ability to come up with a joke or quip about any topic, and he'd always close with "You can use it!"
Ted was fortunate to have a loving family and large group of lifelong friends with whom he shared great times, countless laughs and memorable adventures. He will be dearly missed.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 28, 2024, at 1:00pm at the FitzGerald-Sommer Funeral Home, 17 S. Delaware Avenue Yardley, PA 19067.
