Obituary of Vivien L. Mroz
Vivien L. Mroz, 88, of Morrisville, PA, passed away peacefully on December 26, 2024.
Born and raised in Pittsburgh, PA, Vivien moved to Morrisville in 1977 with her family. She was a very crafty lady who enjoyed sewing and making decorations for her home. Vivien loved to paint. She often changed the interior colors in each house that she lived in. She liked to go shopping, going to flea markets, yard sales and listening to classical music. Vivien adored dogs, both her own and her daughters. Vivien was also a longtime nanny for the Wood family.
Daughter of the late Thomas Sr. and Theresa (Chardello) Towers, Wife of the late Stanley P. Mroz, Jr., mother of the late Elizabeth (Mroz) Gimmi, sister of the late Thomas Towers, Jr., and mother-in-law of the late Dana Robert Gimmi, Gary W. Goodwin, and Theodore Washington.
She is survived by her loving daughters Susan Mroz Goodwin of Hamilton Square, NJ and Dina Mroz Washington of Pomona, NJ, her grandsons Kenneth T. Washington of Pomona, NJ, Ryan T. Washington of Cherry Hill, NJ, and Gary M. Goodwin (Stephanie) of Groveville, NJ, and a very close family friend Glenn Vedder of Morrisville, PA.
The funeral service will be held on Friday, January 3, 2025, at 12:00pm at the FitzGerald-Sommer Funeral Home 17 S. Delaware Avenue Yardley, PA 19067. Interment will be in the Newtown Cemetery. Calling hours for family and friends will be held from 10:30am to 12:00pm at the funeral home.
