Eileen J. Burke of Yardley, PA passed away Thursday, June 15th with her loving family by her side. She was 84 years young. She was preceded in death by her wonderful husband of 36 years, Joseph C. Burke. Born in Trenton, NJ, to Daniel and Rose (Arbitell) Brenna, she graduated from Villa Victoria Academy ('50) and Caldwell College ('54). She is survived by her daughters Mary and Theresa (Roche), her son-in-law Kevin and the world's best grandchildren Margaret, Patrick, Michael and Bridget. She is also survived by her sister and brother-in-law Mary Anne and Ronald Midura, and many wonderful and thoughtful cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Eileen will always be remembered for showing unconditional love, her great sense of humor and her delicious cooking. Family and friends are invited to attend a viewing on Monday June 19th from 5 to 8pm at FitzGerald-Sommer Funeral Home in Yardley. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 12:00pm Tuesday the 20th at St. Ignatius Church, 999 Reading Avenue, Yardley, followed by burial at St. Ignatius Cemetery on River Road in Yardley.
