Rosalie Orlando 1937 – 2025 Rosalie Orlando, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on January 20, 2025, at the age of 87. Her warmth, kindness, and ability to connect with others left an indelible mark on everyone fortunate enough to know her. Born on December 13, 1937, Rosalie grew up in the Coppola family, raised by her loving parents, Rose and John, both Italian immigrants. One of six siblings, she inherited a deep sense of family, tradition, and an innate ability to care for others. Rosalie had a keen sense for people, always seeking to meet them where they were, offering guidance, empathy, and support. Rosalie was married to her late husband, Raymond, for 64 years, building a life filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories. Together, they created a welcoming home where their family and friends felt embraced and celebrated. Summers spent in Long Beach Island were among her favorite times, filled with gatherings at the pool, along with late-night card games with family and friends. A devoted mother, Rosalie is survived by her three children: Richard Orlando and his wife Kristin, Robert Orlando and his wife Margaret "Sassy", and Roslyn Verone and her husband David. She was a proud and loving grandmother to seven grandchildren: Amanda, Joseph, Michaelangelo, Dante, Julianna, Lauren, and Nicholas, each of whom brought her immense joy. She cherished her family and took pride in celebrating their accomplishments and milestones. Rosalie's love extended beyond her children and grandchildren to her daughters-in-law and son-in-law, whom she embraced as her own. Her care, kindness, and genuine affection created a bond that made them feel truly part of the family. Known for her drive and nurturing spirit, Rosalie carried her oversized bag filled with everything anyone might need, always prepared to help in any situation. Even as she grew older, her role as a guide, confidant, and counselor remained steadfast, whether in her professional life or during her time in retirement. Rosalie's life will be honored in a private family service at St. Ignatius Church in Yardley, Pennsylvania. Rosalie Orlando will be deeply missed but never forgotten. Her playfulness, compassion, and unwavering love for her family and friends will continue to inspire all who knew her. She leaves behind a legacy of warmth, care, and a joyful spirit that will remain in the hearts of her loved ones forever. Arrangements are under the care of the FitzGerald-Sommer Funeral Home 17 S.
