As her neighbor for 51 years, it was painful to learn of Joyce's death. There is a great emptiness left by her passing. I especially remember her gentle spirit and loving nature, she never had a bad thing to say about anyone. She also had a lovely sense of humor and we shared many laughs and good times. She knew my sister-in-law, Gwen Berger at McKinley School of Nursing and Gwen's father, Dr Berger.
Joyce was loved by all who knew her and her legacy will provide for great strength as her family gets through this difficult time. She lives on in the memories of those she touched. I am sorry I cannot be there in person to convey my condolences. May your thoughts only be filled with the beautiful memories.
