Sunday, January 27, 2019I am very sorry for your loss. My heart goes out to you in this difficult time. I hope you may find comfort at Revelation 21:4, “And he (God) will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.” We can look forward to the time when God will take away all reasons for distress and he even gives us a hope of a resurrection. (Acts 24:15) I hope this promise brings you comfort as it does me.

We hope that all of your wonderful memories of “Papa Murphy” provide you with some comfort during this difficult time. I have so many fond memories from over the years.. too many to count..but what will always remain with me is his favorite goodbye line.. “So Long Now” and most importantly how much he loved his “Mare” and his entire family. Thursday, January 17, 2019Frank shared many of his memories of John, or Johnny as he called him. But my favorite memory was the night Villanova took the NCAA championship. The two of them, and Mary, singing the fight song over the phone late, late at night within moments of the final buzzer of the game. My love and good wishes for comfort from your memories of this fine man.
