Dr. Evangelista was a frequent visitor at the Wells Fargo, located on Heacock Rd. Being a recent employee of that office, I would assist her with all of her banking needs at the teller line. I knew I was ready to see that big bright smile on her face when she walked inside. She will be missed, and was a customer I held close to my heart. It was always a pleasure to see her.

To Dear Judith, Mr. Evaristo U. Evangelista and Family of the late Dr. Dorita P. Evangelista,
We are devastated by the news that Dr. Dorita Evangelista passed away. She has definitely made her mark in the practice of Radiology and the practice of the subspecialty of Ultrasonography in the Philippines through her work with the Philippine College of Radiology and the Ultrasound Society of the Philippines and the Philippine Society of Ultrasound in Clinical Medicine, Incorporated (PSUCMI).
I have worked closely with your Mom since the time she was elected as Vice-President (one Term), President (two Terms) and subsequently adviser of the PSUCMI. She was definitely a "hands-on" presiding officer who was dedicated to her country and its people. It was a precious Fellowship training of sorts for me as we conceived tasks, projects (outreach programs, annual conventions, administrative functions, etc.) and saw them through to completion and execution. We will definitely miss her and her legacy will live on in whatever we do.
In behalf of the Board of Trustees and Membership of the Philippine Society of Ultrasound in Clinical Medicine, Incorporated, please accept our sincerest condolences.

We will miss you Tita Dory. Sad to say that I didn't have the chance to see and talk to you during the last 2 years that you were here in the Philippines. Because on those occasions, we only picked up Deth at your house in QC and by the time we return to drop her off, you were already asleep. I remember that everytime you have your birthdays, you always celebrate it there with a huge crowd and plenty of food. You were a great host. You play the piano while you let me sing. One of your favorite song is "Ngayon at Kailanman". You played it so well and everytime I forgot the lyrics, you repeat it all over after teaching me the correct melody of the song until I perfect it. Rest in Peace Tita. Heaven will have a great pianist to lead its flocks of angels. Prayers offered to the bereaved family of our friend, Judith for strength in this most difficult time.

It is with heartfelt sadness to learn of Dra. Evangelista's passing. I vividly remember her zest in life, humor, kindness and generosity during my internship year at Veteran Hospital, and even when she visited me in Toronto when I was already in Canada. Dra Evangelista, you'll be greatly missed. It's an honor to have met you and learn not only about medicine but about life. Please RIP.

Hi. My name is Bella and I am one of Dorita’s grandchildren. Some people knew her as Mom, Mama, Tita, or simply as Dorita. To me and my brother, she was simply Mama. I knew her as a very strong, hard-working, compassionate woman. She always inspired me to do well in school and to do what I love which is to dance and play sports. She was utterly generous, and selfless. Mama was a type of person who put people before herself. She was all around caring and loving. My mom always told me that my mama always fought for what she believed in. I know she was very proud of my mom and my Tita Dethy. She was very grateful and appreciative for everything she had. I never had the chance to say goodbye but I know she will be missed by a lot of people especially by us. We all love you Mama!

Hello, I am Devean, Dorita's grandson.
I know that all of us loved, Mama very much and we still can't believe that her physical self is not here with us anymore, but she will always be watching over us, even as you're reading this. I was a very lucky kid to be with Mama and I will always remember our best moments together, like when we went on a trip to the Philippines. She was a very strong, diligently working, loving and intelligent woman. She got up when she was knocked down. She fought for what she believed in. She cared for her children and her grandchildren. Mama would even save me food if I was late to the dining table in the morning. She believed in us and taught us that we could achieve anything if we just tried. Mama always gave Bella and I the long talks about valuable life lessons, like be respectful and treat others the way you want to be treated. Mama was well known because of her kind and friendly nature, especially in the Philippines. Mama is the epitome of what a person in the world should look like. I love you Mama and I'll miss you so much.

Dear Tito Tito, Eva Doris and Judith.
We are deeply saddened by the demise of dear tita Dory.
I have fond memories of her. Driving short and long trips, for her and Tita Baby. I can still recall the shopping,, the arguments. She is a very strong lady but I know that she loves her family very much. I still recall your family coming to the house every Sunday.
I recall her stories and now am smiling hearing her story of how she bumped into another car while briefly changing the radio station.
She has helped a lot of her relatives in her capacity as a medical doctor.
I have missed her since I moved to the States, I feel sad that I didn't even get the chance to see her,
May the eternal repose of her soul rest in peace.
