Fred D. Fisher of Lower Makefield Township, PA died on Sunday January 29, 2017 at Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, PA. He was 61. Born in Philadelphia, PA, son of the late Elwood and Margaret Whitlock Fisher, he has resided in Lower Makefield for the past 18 years. Fred retired 6 years ago as a carpenter with Local 1073 in Philadelphia, PA. He was very talented and spent many hours creating a beautiful home. Fred was a proud husband, father, and a loyal friend. He was loving, supportive, and patient. There was no better father and husband. He is survived by his wife, Ruthann McDonald Fisher, they were together for 41 years; his son, Michael J. Fisher of Lower Makefield; his daughter and her fiancé, Lauren M. Fisher and Joe Pinca of Newtown, PA; his sister, Marge Szpakowski of Levittown, PA, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be at 11am Thursday at the FitzGerald-Sommer Funeral Home, 17 S. Delaware Avenue (River Road), Yardley, PA, where friends may visit from 10am.
