Robin Haynes May 9, 1954 – December 9, 2023 Robin Haynes, of Yardley, PA, died Saturday, December 9, 2023, at home. She was 69. In her 40-year career at Dow Jones and The Wall Street Journal, Robin hired and trained scores of young men and women who went on to become reporters and editors. A Seton Hall graduate, she retired from the Journal in 2016 as Director, News Prepress Operations. While overseeing the paper's Monitor Desk, Robin taught recent hires the standards to live up to at the Journal, while also encouraging many to write their first articles. She was deemed meticulous but always kind. One recalled that Robin was a "gentle soul" who generated a huge amount of loyalty from colleagues. Said another: "She was the perfect example of how you can be a strong, no-nonsense editor but a good person, too". Upon retiring, she loved traveling, her Jaguar E-Type named "RedCat," and singing in the Sacred Heart Church choir. She leaves behind her husband, Alan Anspaugh; her mother, Estelle Haynes; brother Thomas Haynes; and sister-in-law Christina Gordon.
