Jack and Vicky and all the loved ones of Jim. We are so sorry for your loss. Jim and Adele were the very best neighbors.
We watched Jim building their house and witnessed their family growing up along side my parents raising us. Both Jim and Adele were so kind and generous to our family. Jim would give the absolute longest ski rides. Jim had a great sense of humor and always had us laughing.Jim was a such strong man. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of Jim's family.

Uncle Jim. The last man standing of those who married the "Mueller Sisters". You were the Uncle I remember most and best. Your and Aunt Adele's house on the river was my favorite to visit, with Jimmy being my closest cousin in age. You taught me to waterski and I remember many fun hours floating in the river. Jimmy and I had a blast bombing down the hill on the side of your house in summer and winter. My memories of staying at your house, have a sense of comfort and security associated with them. While I was too young to understand then, I realize now that you and Aunt Adele were always there for my Mom, Eric and I when our father / husband was absent.
Through the middle of life, we all scattered geographically and saw each other less. But I recall one time taking a road trip from Florida to PA when our kids were young. We stayed with you and Aunt Adele, floated in the river and we tried water skiing again. Maybe our kids can't relive it exactly as I did when I was young, but it was a special time all the same.
Along the way, you faced tragedy several times; any one of which would knock down the strongest of men, but you continued on through Family and Faith and the joy that your growing family brought. Even then, while Eric and I were in distant parts of the country, you also looked after our Mom - even to ensure she had a big enough TV as her sight failed!
In retirement, we enjoyed seeing you more often down in Florida with Vicky and Dan, Jack and Di and all your grand kids. We enjoyed your Publix Fried Chicken dinners, and laughed at your outrageous statements about your friends at the gym or in public with Mom! I think we are still finding the tennis balls you always brought us!
Rest In Peace Uncle Jim and Thank you.

I'll never forget the day that I was sitting at Dan and Vicky's dining room table looking at something Vicky was showing me. Out of the corner of my eye, I saw a handsome man in a ball cap. I had to do a double take because he looked so much like my own father who had passed away four years prior. I'm certain the look on my face was priceless. He was such a a kind man. We'll miss seeing Jim sitting on the front porch at Dan and Vicky's. God bless Jim and his family.
Respectfully,
Terry Reynolds

I have so many great memories of Uncle Jim. The oldest memories are from 70 years ago when a young man, Jimmy, was courting my mother's sister, Adele. I was 4-years old when Jimmy took me for a ride in his new car. The memory is as vivid today as it was then. Uncle Jim and I reminisced about that just about a year or so ago. If you are wondering, I was at their wedding.
As you know, Uncle Jim built the house himself. The second vivid memory was standing with my Dad and Uncle Jim on the open floor of the house (before the walls went up) and seeing the spectacular view of the Delaware. I am sure you will hear about the purchase of the lot and building of the house from others, but I remember being there and feeling proud of what he was doing with it.
Uncle Jim was good to my Mom and Dad, and especially to his in-laws. He was perfect for dealing with the Mueller sisters. Now he is with Adele and her sisters once again. I am sure that Grandmom and Grandpop Mueller welcomed him to their home again.
We miss you Uncle Jim!!
With much love,
Bill and Kathy
