Jason Timothy Osworth, 65, of Bayville, NJ, went to be with his Lord Jesus Christ on November 23, 2024.
He was the oldest of four sons to Oscar and Pat Osworth. Jason grew up in Griggstown, NJ, and enjoyed spending time outdoors hunting, fishing, boating and SCUBA diving. Jason graduated from Franklin High School and had various jobs over the years including working for Amway and starting his own construction business and an HVAC business. Jason was a devoted husband, father, stepfather, son, brother and grandfather. Jason and his wife, Celeste, were members of Emmanuel Community Church of Bayville, NJ, where Jason served as a deacon.
Jason was the son of the late Oscar Robert and Patricia Ann (Flagg) Osworth, and brother-in-law of the late Kacie (Daniel) Osworth.
Jason is survived by his wife, Celeste (Braun) Osworth, son, Mark (Katie) Osworth, daughters Nicole (Stephen) Pajewski and Amanda Osworth (Kyle Schoeneberg), stepchildren Kyle Gribbin, Vanessa Gribbin (Thomas Rockhill), Rachel (Peter) Calisti and Casie (Aaron) Crawford, his grandchildren Mason, Shayla, Bella, AJ, Aiden, Emily, Kaden, Maci Rae, Cameron, Gemma, Brooklynn, Caleb, Sienna, Paisley, and the newest addition due in January 2025, Miles. He is also survived by his brothers Adam, Kevin, and Daniel Osworth and their wives and families.
The funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 7, 2024, at 5:00pm at the Emmanuel Community Church 331 Wheaton Ave. Bayville, NJ 08721. Visitation for family and friends will begin at 4:00pm at the church.
